Saint-Gobain Research India (SGR India) is one of the eight transversal R&D centers for the Saint-Gobain Group set up to develop products, systems and solutions for hot-and-humid climates. The center is located at IIT Madras Research Park and is part of a unique & vibrant ecosystem that fosters innovation through collaboration with academia while partnering with start-up companies.

OUR FACILITY The R&D Center is spread over 120,000 sq. ft. with an investment of about Rs.150 crores. The center has world-class experience centers that showcase Saint-Gobain’s products and solutions, pilot lines that are used for research in areas pertaining to new product and process development, a grinding center to support with development of high performance abrasive products, and is equipped with state of the art laboratories with a high lab-space-to-researcher ratio.
